Respect husbands wishes or keep the baby?

My husband and I have been married for 4 years and have been trying to have a baby since we got married. It turns out that he is infertile and we were talking about having artificial insemination but he didn't seem to like the idea. Four months ago I was attacked and I am now pregnant. We went to court and the father of the baby is in jail. Both my husband and I have know since I was 4 weeks pregnant. We have been trying for so long and I love my baby and don't want to give it up. I know that he feels awful and probably confused, but I want to raise the child and let him adopt it. Should I respect his wishes and put the baby up for adoption or keep it and raise it as our own?
