I think my Galaxy Tab is infected with a virus. help?

Whenever I try to connect to the browser, it shows a message that says "the page does not support your version of browser" which is bullocks since my wifi is working perfectly fine with my laptop. along with showing that message, I cannot connect to any wifi up-link. I got this Samsung Galaxy Tab exactly one month ago, and it was working fine since. I tried doing a factory reset, but it didn't work, the virus still persists. can you help?
