Win 7 Virus disappeared?

I had the Win 7 virus on my computer, so I used another user account on my laptop that was not infected for about two weeks. I deleted some of the virus processes the day the virus came up. I just logged back into my main infected account and the virus was gone. I checked task manager and none of the virus processses were running. Does this mean my computer is safe now?
