My wow account is not opening up! Can someone help?

Whenever I click Play on the WoW box (the one that tells you how far you are into a patch, etc.) the actual game does not come up. The WoW box only dissappears and then nothing happens. I don't have a virus or anything, and I've restarted my computer multiple times and nothing happened. Can someone please help, or like explain why this is happening?
