I'm thinking of playing World of Warcraft again, any thoughts on how it's looking lately?

So I played for a few years.... got bored (and very frustrated lmao).... decided to quit altogether.... but lately it's been on my mind quite a bit. (I never really got into keybinding and all that hardcore gamer stuff, but I was considering buying all the high end gear *mouse/keyboard/headset/etc*, who knows, it might actually make the experience more fun?) but what I'm wondering is, is the game getting better or getting worse? I think I quit originally because of how unbalanced pvp was.. (I know I sound like the average noob but frost mages vs warriors in cata's release? Lets be real here.) How is PvP and PvE lately? I don't want to jump back into a game that's in the process of crashing, ya know? :/ Little help here guys?
