EMPIRE TOTAL WAR PROBLEM!!!?

ok so when i open up empire total war napoleon version, i cant see my mouse. but if i manage to use the highlighting if where it should be right before the game is about to start i can here it but the load bar is like glitching out. i do have a virus scan thing that say Adware:win32/OpenCandy, i havent aloud it yet or anything cause i dont kmnow what it is or if it related to these problems, please help fast so i dont have to return the game
